Fresno man dies in fall from Stateline casino parking structure

A Fresno man died early Sunday when he apparently fell from the upper levels of a parking structure at Harvey’s Casino in Stateline, Nev.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said 29-year-old David Garcia was found unresponsive and not breathing next to the casino’s parking structure about 3 a.m. Witnesses said Garcia had been drinking alcohol during the evening and had left the casino on foot about 2:20 a.m.

The fall appears to have been an accident, the sheriff’s office said.
