Fatal accident occurs on Highway 99 near Tulare

A fatal accident occurred on Highway 99 in Tulare County on Sunday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol logs.

Around noon, a car was reported to be in a field on northbound Highway 99 north of Avenue 184 just outside of Tulare.

The fire department and a tow truck were called to the scene.
