Central Fresno street to close due to high-speed rail work

Construction for the high-speed rail will close a central Fresno street for seven days.

Work by Granite Construction will close McKinley Avenue between Golden State Boulevard and West Avenue starting at 9 a.m. Monday and continuing through Jan. 22.

There will be detours available and residents can expect delays.
