Reedley high school student, Clovis-area man identified as accident victims
The Fresno County Sheriff Coroner’s office has released the identities of a Reedley high school student who died on the campus of Reedley College, and a rural Clovis-area man who died while collecting his mail.
Crystal Hernandez, 17, of Orange Cove, a student at Reedley Middle College High School, died Thursday of injuries suffered Nov. 15 when she fell out of a pickup truck on the Reedley College campus. The high school is a partnership between Reedley College and Kings Canyon Unified School District.
Ronald Stebles, 74, of Clovis, died Saturday night when he was struck by a vehicle near Herndon and Bethel avenues east of Clovis. Stebles has just retrieved his mail shortly after 5 p.m. and was crossing the street to return home when he was struck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
