Crash near Exeter kills woman hit by truck
A woman was killed after she was hit by a truck pulling a trailer near Exeter on Saturday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The woman was driving east on Marinette Avenue in a blue Pontiac when she stopped at the stop sign at Highway 65 just before 2:30 p.m.
She then pulled out onto Highway 65 in front of a man who was northbound in a truck with a trailer attached, said CHP.
The identity of the woman, and her age and hometown, has not been released.
