Virginia man dies in Visalia motorcycle crash

A Virginia man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a pickup in central Visalia Saturday, police said.

Jose Armenta, 26, was riding his 2012 Honda CBR motorcycle east on Murray Avenue just after 6 p.m. when he struck a 2004 Dodge pickup that was northbound on Court Street. Armenta was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where he died of his injuries. The pickup's driver, Vincent Wilson, 54, of Visalia, was not injured, police said.

The collision remains under investigation.
