California nursing board meets in Fresno for first time
The California Board of Registered Nursing will provide the public an opportunity to learn and discuss how nurses can maintain their licenses and ensure the highest quality of care from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the DoubleTree Inn, 2233 Ventura St., in Fresno.
Pilar De La Cruz-Reyes, director of the Central California Center for Excellence in Nursing at Fresno State who was appointed to the nine-member board in 2015, said this is the first time the board is meeting in the central San Joaquin Valley.
