Central California Animal Disaster Team will honor four fallen K-9 officers

The Central California Animal Disaster Team will honor four fallen K-9 officers Saturday at the second annual Paws for Pints event.

“The blood drive is a way that animal rescue organizations can come together to honor all emergency responders who save the lives of humans and animals during times of crisis,” said Naomi E. Flam, the team’s president.

The community is encouraged to come out and donate in memory of the four animals between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the community park at Sierra Vista Mall, 1050 Shaw Ave. in Clovis. The CCADT said that those who are unable to make it during that time can still donate at their various locations and mention Paws for Pints.
