Bicyclist in critical condition after northwest Fresno crash
A bicyclist is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in northwest Fresno on Wednesday, the Fresno Police Department said.
The call came in just after 8 p.m. about the accident that occurred at Herndon and Fruit avenues.
The driver was going east on Herndon Avenue when the vehicle crashed into the bicyclist, who was going south on Fruit Avenue, police said.
The bicyclist was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Detectives are on the scene investigating the crash.
