COVID impacts on Fresno region shown in interactive charts, diminishing in Year Three

Fresno County and the central San Joaquin Valley are now 25 months into the coronavirus pandemic since the first cases in the region were identified in Fresno County and the central San Joaquin Valley in early March 2020.

Since that time, nearly half a million residents people in the Valley have been infected with COVID-19, and more than 5,800 have died from the respiratory disease.

The following charts show the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had — and continues to have — on the central San Joaquin Valley.
