How many coronavirus cases are confirmed in your community? Interactive map for Fresno area

Almost 26,000 people across the central San Joaquin Valley are confirmed to have been infected with the novel coronavirus since the first cases of COVID-19 were reported in Madera and Fresno counties in early March.

As of Tuesday afternoon, July 21, 25,781 cases have been identified in the six-county region. Of those, 350 people have died.

While larger communities like Fresno and Visalia have had the preponderance of local cases in the global pandemic, some smaller cities and towns in Fresno, Kings, Madera, Merced and Tulare counties have experienced a surprising number of infections. Others have only a handful of people who have contracted the virus.
