Medical providers: Tell The Fresno Bee about your experience with coronavirus
As the number of coronavirus cases in the central San Joaquin valley tops 500, the strain on local hospitals is growing.
The region already faced a shortage of health care facilities and professionals before the coronavirus hit. As COVID-19 cases mount, how is the valley coping?
Hospitals and health department officials have reported shortages in N95 masks, ventilators, testing kits, and even doctors. But public information officials can only provide so much insight. We want to hear from the people on the front lines.
The Fresno Bee is investigating what is and what isn’t available, as well as the services physicians can provide. You can help us report this story.
We want to understand what our medical providers and first responders are going through, whether you’ve been furloughed or continue working. What has the experience like for you? What challenges are you facing? What gear are you missing?
You will not be directly quoted unless we reach out to you and receive your explicit consent. Your answers may be used anonymously in future stories.
Please feel free to share this survey with people you know, and stay tuned for future reporting on this issue.
