Firefighters continue to work to contain the Washburn Fire in Yosemite National Park, which grew to more than 3,200 acres by Tuesday morning.

These images and videos show how firefighters are attempting to contain the fire and protect the giant sequoia trees of the Mariposa Grove near Wawona.

The fire’s cause remained under investigation.
