Early morning earthquake rattles northern SLO County
A 2.7-magnitude earthquake shook northern San Luis Obispo County early Tuesday morning.
The tremor hit near Hearst Castle around 5:07 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It struck at a depth of just over three miles into the earth, according to the geological survey.
The epicenter was northwest of San Simeon and southeast of Ragged Point.
