Taylor Swift’s new album gets Target exclusive. Where, when to buy in California
It’s going to be an “Enchanted” fall for Taylor Swift fans.
The platimum-selling pop star is set to release her hotly anticipated new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” at select Target stores throughout California and the United States, according to the official Taylor Swift website.
Each “exclusive edition” CD comes with a special poster and collectible album art, the site said.

What is new Taylor Swift album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’?
Swift announced the title of her 12th studio album during a special appearance on the “New Heights” podcast hosted by her fiance, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason.
“The Life of a Showgirl” will feature 12 songs from the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, including “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Elizabeth Taylor.” The title track features an appearance by “Espresso” singer Sabrina Carpenter.
The new album follows Swift’s popular Eras tour, which sold more than 2 billion tickets and grossed $261 million worldwides, The New York Times previously reported..
When does new Taylor Swift album go on sale?
“The Life of a Showgirl” goes on sale beginning at midnight on Friday, Oct. 3, at select Target stores.
Customers can choose from three album covers — titled “It’s Beautiful,” “It’s Frightening” and “It’s Rapturous” — exclusive to Target.
Each copy includes a “jewel case with collectible front and back cover art” plus a double-sided folded poster and a collectible booklet with “never-before-seen photos and song lyrics,” Target said on its website. You can also preorder “The Life of a Showgirl” at Target.com.
Orders will be “delivered on or shortly after” the Oct. 3 release date, Target said.
Purchases are limited to four albums per customer while supplies last.

The “Sweat and Vanilla Perfume” version of the CD, which retails for $12.99, also features collective cover art, a poster and a booklet.
You can also order an orange glitter vinyl edition of Swift’s new album for $29.99 or get the album on cassette for $19.99.
