SuperLotto Plus player wins big in California. Where was lucky ticket sold?
A SuperLotto Plus player in California won $30,682, just missing the $14 million jackpot, lottery officials say.
The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the mega number in the drawing Saturday, June 7, the California Lottery said.
The lucky ticket was sold at Super Save Market in Stockton, which is about a 50-mile drive south from Sacramento, the lottery said.
Nobody won the grand prize, which rises to an estimated $15 million, with a cash value of about $6.6 million, for the next drawing Wednesday, June 11.
The winning numbers were 16, 24, 38, 40 and 45, with a mega number of 7, the site said.
More than 95,000 other SuperLotto tickets sold in California also won prizes ranging from $1 to $1,300, the lottery said.
