His empty car was later found parked at Point Fermin Park, a place he regularly visited to take walks, according to police.

Three days after he was last seen, Los Angeles firefighters found a body “near the bottom of the cliffs below Point Fermin Park,” the department said in a July 11 news release.

A week later, the body was identified as Wolfe, police said in a July 18 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Police said they have notified Wolfe’s family about his death.
