Best cheeseburger in California? This restaurant ranked No. 1, Yelp says
Cheeseburgers are regarded as an American staple, and Yelp just made it easier to find the best place in California to grab one.
CRFT Burger in Glendora landed the No. 1 spot for cheeseburgers in the state, according to Yelp’s new report, which highlights the “top cheeseburger in every state.”
To find the top cheeseburger, Yelp looked at U.S. businesses in the food and restaurant category with a large number of reviews that mentioned “cheeseburger.”
Then each place was ranked based on the total volume and ratings of reviews between Jan. 1 and July 15, 2022.
CRFT BURGER
This Glendora burger spot is about 30 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
The restaurant serves four burgers made with grass-fed beef that’s “carrot-finished” from a local farm. And Yelp reviewers have raved about CRFT Burger’s classic cheeseburger.
“Fresh, juicy meat, nice toasted bun, fresh veggies,” one reviewer wrote. “It has that crunchy texture of an In-N-Out Burger but way more juicy and fatty.”
The burger includes a sesame bun, American cheese, house-made pickles, red onion and signature CRFT sauce.
Customers can add another beef patty, house-made bacon, portobello mushroom, avocado, extra cheese and a spicy spread.
Hand-cut fries can also be ordered as a side.
“Solid place. I have tried their California Burger, Shroom Burger, Green Goddess Salad and fries. All very good. The best of all is the fries. Perfect crunch on the outside and soft on the inside,” another reviewer wrote.
The restaurant also serves salads, sandwiches, soft serve ice cream, milkshakes and floats.
