This California bakery serves the best chocolate chip cookie in the state, Yelp says
Chocolate chip cookies are a classic sweet treat — and one bakery is serving the best ones in California, according to a recent Yelp ranking.
The restaurant review website named the top chocolate chip cookie in every state just in time for National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, which falls on Aug. 4.
To find the best chocolate chip cookies, Yelp looked at U.S. businesses in the restaurant and food category that had a large number of reviews mentioning “chocolate chip cookies.” Then each place was ranked based on the total volume and ratings of reviews.
B. Patisserie, a quaint bakery in San Francisco serving “Parisian and Viennese-style pastries,” was recognized as the best in California for chocolate chip cookies.
And Yelp reviewers agree.
“The chocolate chip cookies are to die for!!!” one Yelp reviewer wrote.
Although some reviewers commented on the long lines at this popular spot, they still said it was worth stopping by.
“There was a line out the door and for a good reason. We tried the croissant, chocolate chip cookies and latte. All items were delicious,” another reviewer said.
A cookie costs $3.50.
The bakery also offers a variety of “decadent” pastries. Yelp reviewers can’t seem to get enough of the kouign amann — “caramelized croissant dough with laminated sugar.”
Chocolate banana almond croissants, almond croissants, coffee cake, raspberry lemon cheesecake and oatmeal cookies are all available too.
“Finding this spot made us miss Paris less now,” one reviewer said. cq
