Prince Harry, Meghan Markle buy $16 million home in Montecito

England’s Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have purchased a $16 million home in Montecito.

Several national media sources tripped over themselves reporting the celebrity news on Tuesday.

TMZ wrote, “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have left Los Angeles for greener pastures ... in the lush, super-exclusive city of Montecito ... and the Oprah connection seems undeniable.”

Page Six wrote “Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have secretly bought a private family home in Santa Barbara — the place they have chosen to put down permanent roots and bring up their son, Archie, after leaving the British royal family.”

According to Noozhawk sources, the couple purchased a 14,500-square-foot home with nine bedrooms in June.

The couple fled the bright lights of Kensington Palace in January, stepping away from their role as “senior” members of the royal family.

Vogue also wrote that “Santa Barbara’s quiet privacy was no doubt a driving feature for the couple.”

The couple is involved in multiple lawsuits against British tabloids.

They also earlier this year filed a lawsuit against photographers who allegedly used a drone to take photos of their son, Archie, at their temporary Los Angeles home.

The celebrity pair join a slew of other famous people who live in Montecito, including Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss.
