Jack-knifed big rig dangles precariously off Los Angeles overpass in rainy commute
A 4 a.m. crash Wednesday left a big rig dangling off a Los Angeles overpass, snarling traffic during a rainy morning commute, the California Department of Transportation reports on Twitter.
The accident took place at the Interstate 710 connector to Highway 60 in East Los Angeles, closing the interchange while workers try to remove the truck, Caltrans reported.
No injuries were reported, according to KTLA. It’s not clear how the big rig smashed through the overpass railing.
It’s not known how long the interchange will remain closed, Caltrans reported.
