Hunter Fire in Mariposa County fully contained, burns 423 acres
A large vegetation fire that burned 423 acres in Mariposa County, east of Snelling, was fully contained as of Friday morning, Cal Fire reported.
The cause of the Hunter Fire, which was reported Thursday afternoon off Bear Valley Road and Cotton Creek Road, remains under investigation.
