Oakhurst-area home sales: Real estate prices in Oakhurst the week of Aug. 27

The median price per square foot for a home in Oakhurst in the past three weeks was $220, which is the lowest in the county. That’s $35 less than the Madera County median.

The most expensive community in Madera County is Shaver Lake, where the median price per square foot in the past three weeks was $316.

Outside of Oakhurst, the best deal can be found in Friant area, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $268.

In the past three weeks, a 1,430-square-foot home on Chu Ranch Road in Oakhurst sold for $315,000.
