A Fresno company is helping USA Track & Field Olympians, including former Clovis High athlete Jenna Prandini, commemorate their 2016 Rio Olympic experience with a gift box.

Fan in a Box, located in southeast Fresno, was approached by the organization to create something that would reward athletes for representing the U.S. and would celebrate their athleticism, training and dedication.

The company created a slim box in dark blue with clouds atop a stadium, the organization logo and the words “Dream Big.” Inside is a card that plays a video message from USA Track & Field, an American flag, dog tags and a shadow box with the athlete’s event, name and a place for the Olympic event bib.

“We’ve had the privilege to work with USA Track & Field on a couple of projects, and it’s amazing to take part in such a pivotal event as the Olympics,” said Jenna Leary, partner at Fan in a Box. “This project was especially close to our hearts with local star and family friend Jenna Prandini on the roster.”

Prandini, a 14-time All-American track and field star at Oregon, will be in the 200 meter dash. She qualified for the Olympic team by one-hundredth of a second after crossing the finish line just in front of 2012 Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix to earn Team USA’s third and final spot in the event at Rio.

The box is the second created by Fan in a Box for the track and field team. The company created a gift box for athletes in the 2015 World Championships in Beijing.
