Nutrishop opens store at Campus Pointe

Fresno State students looking for supplements now have another option at Campus Pointe, where a new Nutrishop has opened.

Owner Eric Attoian said he is looking forward to the opportunity to grow the new location, which is near Fresno State in the same complex as the Maya Cinemas.

“School’s not in session right now, but we’re still seeing people stop in,” Attoian said. “A nutrition store was requested by the students, so it was a good fit.”

Attonian said most of his clientele falls between the ages of 18 and 25. Since 2011, he has opened four stores – three in Fresno, including the Campus Pointe location, and one in Clovis.

Nutrishop offers meal plans and healthy nutrition plans, athletic and diet supplements and more, said manager Madison Avedikian. Educating to make sure customers understand their nutrition is important to her and the stores, she said.

“We do a lot of promotional booths on campus where we hand things out and talk to students,” she said.
