Word on the Street: A-Z Home Medical holds grand opening at Fresno store

A-Z Home Medical Equipment held a grand opening May 7 for its new River Park location. The company opened March 1 at 7464 N. Blackstone Ave. after moving from its Kingsburg location.

The store specializes in selling quality medical equipment like lift chairs, power scooters, hospital beds and even sports tape, spokeswoman Gina Poynor said. She said the store doesn't accept insurance because it allows the company to price products lower than the manufacturers suggested retail price.

A-Z Medical Equipment is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
