Central Valley Testing (CVT) in Visalia will join Rancho Cucamonga-based RMA Group of Companies, an umbrella for several employee-owned engineering firms with offices across the state.
Visalia resident Darren Alexander will take over the day-to-day operation of CVT and the original staff will be retained.
CVT will work with RMA GeoScience, which operates an office and full-service lab in Fresno.
CVT first opened in 1981 and provides professional soils engineering, construction inspection and laboratory testing services on projects throughout the Central Valley. It was founded by decorated war veteran Dennis Myers.
