Word on the Street: Fresno’s Bedrosians Tile acquires Oregon Tile
Fresno-based Bedrosians Tile and Stone has acquired Oregon Tile & Marble – a company with five locations in the Pacific Northwest.
The two companies have worked together for 30 years, and their families are longtime personal friends, Bedrosians said in a statement.
Bedrosians has a showroom in Fresno on Shaw and Marty avenues. The company sells tile, marble and granite to contractors and dealers across the nation.
It was founded in 1948 and is now one of the largest independent tile and stone importers, distributors and manufacturers in the United States, servicing a national and international client base. Bedrosians now has more than 40 branches.
The company’s founder, Ed V. Bedrosian, died in November 2012 at 92.
Oregon Tile & Marble has locations in Medford and Portland, Oregon; Seattle and Spokane, Wash.; and Boise, Idaho. The acquisition was effective April 15.
The new name of the Oregon business is Oregon Tile & Marble a Bedrosians Company.
