Word on the Street: Social media and public relations expert to speak in Fresno

A nationally recognized expert on social media and public relations measurement will be in Fresno on Thursday.

Katie Delahaye Paine, author of “Measure What Matters, Measuring the Networked Nonprofit and Measuring Relationships” will be speaking at a half-day seminar sponsored by the Central California Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

The seminar is being held April 28 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Pardini’s, 2257 W. Shaw Ave. Breakfast will be provided.

Paine is the founder and chief executive officer of KDPaine & Partners and publisher of the blog kdpaine.blogs.com and “The Measurement Standard”, the first such publications dedicated entirely to measurement and accountability.

Tickets are $75 for PRSA members, $90 for non-PRSA members and $25 for students. A VIP reception will be held on April 27, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20. Register at www.prsacentralcal.com
