Job fair in Madera on Thursday, April 7

Several Madera County agencies are joining to host a job fair on Thursday at the Madera District Fairgrounds.

Job seekers will be able to connect with local employers and learn about employment resources and services at the fair, which will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fair’s Hatfield Hall, 1850 Cleveland Ave.

Attendees are advised to dress professionally, bring copies of résumés and be prepared to fill out job applications. Job seekers should also register on the state’s CalJOBS website at www.caljobs.ca.gov.

The event is being organized by the Workforce Development Board of Madera County, the Madera County Workforce Investment Corporation and the Madera County Department of Social Services.
