Word on the Street: Boutique indoor cycling studio pedals its way to northeast Fresno
A boutique indoor cycling studio is pedaling its way to northeast Fresno this fall.
RIDE54, a studio featuring a theater-style environment and a sophisticated sound and lighting system with a range of high-energy cycling and strength-training classes, is planning to open in The Village at River Park shopping center, near the Dave & Buster’s location under construction on Friant Road and Highway 41, the company says.
The studio will employ professionally trained instructors, top-of-the-line equipment, and curated music playlists. The studio will also feature a second fitness room featuring TRX suspension training and boot camp classes.
RIDE54 is being developed by Layne and Melissa Lev, a couple that returned to Fresno after working in the Bay Area for several years. Both are graduates from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. The company has a website at ride54.com.
