The Fresno Madera Continuum of Care will hold a landlord engagement and recruitment event on Feb. 26 to reach out to property owners interested in helping end homelessness among veterans and others.

Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin will welcome attendees. Landlords and community members will learn about the benefits of renting to homeless veterans, families and individuals, how they can help these people overcome the challenges of finding housing, and the types of support and case management related to these housing programs.

The meeting will be 9 to 11 a.m. Feb. 26 at Parc Grove Commons, 2674 E. Clinton Ave. in Fresno. To RSVP, email esther.taylor@westcare.com or call 559-241-8753 ext. 21231.
