Word on the Street: Sleep Number opens Visalia mattress store

Sleep Number brought its unique mattress shopping experience to Visalia with the opening of its second central San Joaquin Valley location on Jan. 29.

The 3,000-square-foot store on 2928 S. Mooney Blvd., near the Visalia Mall, offers a multi-sensory experience, spokesman Matthew Smith said.

The store features imaging that creates a digital map of the body’s pressure points and interactive tools to help customers as they shop for a bed.

Sleep Number’s other Valley locations include stores in Fresno, Modesto and Bakersfield.
