Free job fair and workshops in Lemoore

A job fair and free workshops for job seekers will be held at the Central Valley Career and Resource Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 27 at Tachi Palace Bingo Hall in Lemoore.

Last year’s event featured more than 80 employers with job openings.

This year’s event also features free workshops for job seekers by San Joaquin Valley College on topics including interviewing, resume writing and review, and social networking for jobs.

The expo is a partnership among state Sen. Andy Vidak, R-Hanford, U.S. Rep. David Valadao, R-Hanford, The Wonderful Company and Tachi Palace. The Tachi Palace is at 17225 Jersey Ave. in Lemoore.
