Uber has launched UberEspañol for Spanish-speaking riders in the Fresno area.

Company officials said they wanted Uber to reflect the multilingual communities where they operate.

The company began the service in San Diego, Phoenix and Tucson in February and followed up in May with a launch in Los Angeles, Orange County and Chicago.

Uber said that after hearing from both riders and drivers in the central San Joaquin Valley, it decided to add bilingual drivers in Fresno.
