The Downtown Fresno Partnership has selected five finalists for its Create Here Business Plan competition.

The finalists are: Char-Cu-Te-Rie, a Visalia restaurant and coffee shop; Fresno brewer House of Pendragon, in partnership with Visalia restaurant Pita Kabob; furniture makers Papa Steve & Nienna; food truck Raw Fresno; and Tree of Life Cafe of Fresno.

People’s choice voting can be done online at www.downtownfresno.org/vote, starting now and ending on Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. The people’s choice winner will receive $500 cash.

A panel of judges will select an overall winner, and that will be announced in late October. The winner will receive prizes, including a year’s free rent, $10,000 in cash, and marketing and branding services.
