Hannah Serimian is an entrepreneur with a passion for designing products that are functional and fashionable. And that was exactly her approach when she created Boxy Girl, a line of Lucite acrylic organizers.

The Boxy Girl’s flagship product is four, stackable clear Lucite boxes that are ideal for organizing makeup, jewelry, desk supplies and more. Using high-quality materials and a single mold injection process, the boxes are as sturdy as they are stylish. The 10-inch box retails for $199.

Serimian, who operates the start-up company with her husband, Marlon, says it took roughly four years to go from concept to complete product. Her father, Dan Chapman, assisted in the design of the boxes that includes an optional lid.

Although Boxy Girl is just ramping up its social media marketing campaign, word of mouth is already spreading.

“Someone wanted to order 15 of them,” Serimian said. “The response is very exciting.”

Starting Thursday, Sept. 10, Boxy Girl will be available at two places, Body Del Sol Medical Spa and Riolo Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. You can also purchase the boxes on the company’s website, boxygirl.com, that is expected to go live by mid-September.

A national rollout is planned in early summer of 2016.
