Walmart hiring 80 for expanded northwest Fresno store

Walmart is hiring up to 80 employees for its expanded location on Ingram Avenue at Herndon Avenue in northwest Fresno.

While the expansion is to be finished in the fall, the majority of new employees will start work this summer to prepare for the store’s grand opening.

Applications will be accepted in-store at a hiring kiosk Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., with applications also accepted online at http://careers.walmart.com. The store will be hiring part-time and full-time employees.

“We are excited to offer additional jobs to the community as well as a larger, improved store,” said store manager Mike Buchta.
