Luncheon set on Madera’s industry and California’s economic incentives

The Madera County Economic Development Commission is hosting a luncheon on how Madera’s industry can take advantage of the state’s economic incentives.

The luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. July 15 at the Hampton Inn at 3254 Airport Drive. Lunch is $15 per person.

George Runner, vice-chairman of the California Board of Equalization, will be the featured speaker. Bobby Kahn, the commission’s executive director, will also be speaking.

Emily Jarrett & Jason Rancadore of the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development will be speaking on the California Competes Tax Credit, an income tax credit available to businesses moving to or expanding in the state, and the benefits it offers.
