Awards

▪ Lynette Bird-Metzger, a critical care nurse at Kaiser Permanente Fresno, received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, which recognizes bedside nurses for extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care.

▪ Four local Allstate Insurance agency owners were honored for highest standards of excellence and performance. The Allstate exclusive agency owners are: Ronald Meadows, Fresno; David Thomas, Fresno; Linda Radmacher, Visalia; and Olivia Aparicio, Tulare.

New Faces

▪ Miguel Gamboa joined Sunnyside Country Club as executive chef.

▪ Mark Decius joined Union Bank as a business development officer for the business banking group’s Small Business Administration (SBA) lending team. He is responsible for providing lending solutions to small business owners through SBA and other government loan programs, and for identifying and developing new client relationships primarily for the San Francisco Bay Area and Central Valley region.

▪ Precision Civil Engineering Inc. added four employees to it’s staff. They are: Julio Padilla, project engineer; Vang Thao, senior CAD specialist; Erik Chin, engineer in training; and Joseph Mendez, party chief.
