Wilson’s Motorcycles takes over former church in Clovis
A Shaw Avenue building in Clovis has been home to a Bally’s Fitness and a couple of churches. This summer it will be house something entirely different: A motorcycle shop.
Wilson’s Motorcycles is planning an early July opening at 284 W. Shaw Ave. near Villa Avenue. The approximately 30,000-square-foot building was most recently The Well Community Church’s Clovis campus and before that, Celebration Church.
Wilson’s will keep its original store at 2436 Foundry Park Ave. near Church Avenue and Golden State Boulevard. That store will continue to specialize in Kawasaki and Yamaha bikes.
The Clovis store will focus on Piaggo, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Husqvarna and KTM motorcycles.
Both stores will also sell parts, accessories and clothing and have service departments.
One thing that’s different at the new Clovis store: Bicycles. The owners like to ride bicycles too, says marketing director Chris Williams. So they’ll sell Scott bicycles.
