▪ The East Fresno Rotary Club announced its newest members: Al Caress, Sherry Cosgrove, Rick Leas and Brad Stevens.
▪ The law firm of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP has changed its name to Floyd, Skeren, Manukian & Langevin, LLP. The change follows the retirement of senior partner Todd Kelly. The firm is headquartered in Westlake Village with an office in Fresno.
▪ The Central Valley Angel Group has added Motoroso Inc. to its investment portfolio. The website is for automotive and powersports enthusiasts to plan, build, and share their dream vehicle projects.
▪ The March of Dimes – Central Valley Market announced Stacie Venkatesan, director of Neonatal Services at Valley Children’s Healthcare, has joined its board of directors.
▪ Sran Family Orchards of Kerman became the first farm in the United States to become Bee Better Certified. To achieve this, the farm had to meet strict requirements for creating bee habitat and reducing the effects of pesticides. The farm is the world’s largest grower of organic almonds.
Awards
▪ Saint Agnes Medical Center announced Sarah Gaytan and Roberto Arredondo as winners of the Going the Extra Mile award. The award honors colleagues who provide outstanding customer service, deliver exceptional patient care and demonstrate the Saint Agnes mission and core values.
▪ Saint Agnes Medical Center announced nurses Amanda Scarbrough and David Matthew Balderas as winners of the DAISY Award for extraordinary nurses. The award is part of a nationwide program that rewards and celebrates extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by bedside nurses.
New Faces
▪ Monique Meyer, a board certified and fellowship trained neuroradiologist, is now a partner with CMI Radiology Group, and Hans Hildebrandt, a board certified and fellowship trained diagnostic radiologist, is now the managing partner of CMI Radiology Group.
▪ Guarantee Real Estate announced the following agents have joined its sales staff: Bonner Boel, Willow/Nees office; Wija Carbajal, West/Herndon office; Nyresha Armstead, Fig Garden Village; Carlos Martinez, Woodward Park office; and Nathan Nycum, Palm/Nees office.
▪ Vernon Crowder has been named the new executive director of the Kings River Conservancy. He comes with an extensive background in the commercial banking industry for the past 40 years and will be working with a board of directors, a public outreach director and a grant writer.
▪ Amy Williams has joined the WiZiX Technology Group team as business adviser. She will be responsible for providing state-of-the-art office equipment and managed print services throughout Northern and Central California.
