Tachi Palace breaks ground on gas station, market and smoke shop

Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino near Lemoore is breaking ground Saturday on a gas station, smoke shop and convenience store, Tachi Palace announced.

The groundbreaking and tribal blessing will be at 1 p.m. at the corner of 17th Avenue and Jersey Avenue, on the Santa Rosa Rancheria south of Lemoore.

The project will include a gas station and an 8,000 square-foot convenience store, smoke shop and market, the casino said. Construction is expected to be completed by spring of 2017.
