Crash briefly cuts power to part of southeast Fresno

A car hit a power pole in southeast Fresno on Tuesday, briefly cutting power to about 3,425 customers, according to Pacific Gas & Electric.

Spokesman Denny Boyles said as of 1 p.m., only 29 customers remained without power. A PG&E crew was repairing the damage, Boyles said.

The crash happened around noon.
