Part of Hwy. 41 to close for 2 days. Here’s when and where
Part of Highway 41 will close for two days due to construction, according to the California Department of Transportation.
Travelers on southbound Highway 41 will encounter “daytime one-way reserving traffic control” east of Cholame, Caltrans said in a news release.
Here’s what to expect:
Where is Highway 41 construction?
According to Caltrans, construction will close a lane of southbound Highway 41 from 4 miles north of the Highway 46 interchange to 15 miles south of the intersection with Highway 33.
When can drivers expect roadwork?
Roadwork will take place 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 13, and Friday, April 17, Caltrans said.
“During the middle of the week, the shoulder adjacent to the work will be closed as construction crews install a new driveway for Verizon site access,” the state roads agency said.
“No significant travel delays are expected during this project,” Caltrans said.
