Shop for discount kids clothing, crafts at April events
Families with growing children looking for affordable clothing can find it at the 13th annual Just Between Friends Sale.
The sale runs from Thursday, April 14, to Saturday, April 16, in the Commerce building at the Fresno Fairgrounds, 1121 S. Chance Ave.
The sale features clothing, toys, nursery decor and furniture, and other baby-related items. Clothing sizes run from baby to teen and are discounted between 50 percent and 90 percent.
The event is essentially a large consignment sale, with families selling the items their children have outgrown.
Just Between Friends hosts two sales each year.
The event is free and runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, when most items are 50 percent off.

Craftapalooza
Several times a year, the Craftapalooza event typically held at Yoshi Now! features vendors selling crafts and handmade goods.
They’re switching things up later this month on Sunday, April 17, when Craftapalooza will be held at Chukchansi Park in conjunction with the Mini Maker Faire.
Both will happen at the stadium during a Fresno Grizzlies game against the Las Vegas 51s that starts at 1:05 p.m.
At Craftapalooza, well over a dozen vendors will be selling handcrafted items, including Fresno-themed pillows, painted barware and handmade incense.
The tricky part? Craftapalooza will be inside the fence at the stadium near Tulare Street. That means you’ll need a ticket to the game to get in.
Craftapalooza runs from noon to 5 p.m.
If you want to skip the game, another Craftapalooza event is scheduled for May 14 back at Yoshi Now!
