Newest In-N-Out Burger in Valley, just off Highway 99 in Madera, sets opening date
The newest In-N-Out Burger restaurant in the Valley opens Friday in Madera.
The popular fast food burger spot will open at 10:30 a.m. at 1830 W. Cleveland Ave., near the fairgrounds. Just off Highway 99, it is likely to serve much more than just Madera residents.
The popular restaurant chain doesn’t typically hold large grand openings. But plenty of customers are sure to show up for its “double, double,” a cheeseburger with two patties, and “animal style” fries smothered in mustard, hamburger meat, pickles, grilled onions and In-N-Out’s house spread.
This In-N-Out location has one drive-thru lane, indoor seating for 84 people, and a covered patio with seating for 26.
Its regular hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
The restaurant employs about 80 people, with a starting wage of $20 per hour. It will be managed by Reyna Bryant, a 24-year veteran of the family-owned company.
It’s on the site of the former Sugar Pine Smokehouse, which was torn down to make way for the restaurant. The barbecue restaurant moved to a new location at the Madera Municipal Golf Course on Avenue 17.
The new Madera In-N-Out is at least the second new location in the central San Joaquin Valley, with the Delano location opening last March.
