Tractor Supply Co. is planning to open a third location in the Fresno/Clovis area.

The national company that’s part ag store, part hardware store — and sells a lot of everything else — confirmed it is planning to build a new store in southeast Fresno.

It will be at 5674 E. Kings Canyon Road, on the southeast corner of Clovis Avenue, near Javier’s Mexican Restaurant, confirmed a representative of the company.

The nearly 24,000-square-foot building will be newly built.

It won’t open until 2024, possibly in February or March. No opening date has been set because it depends upon how long construction takes.

Tractor Supply caters to farmers, homeowners and others needing agricultural supplies, selling everything from pet products and clothing to tractor attachments. It also sells live chicks in its stores.
