After a couple weekends of trial runs, Ampersand Ice Cream is officially open daily at its new location.

The locally-owned ice cream shop is at the northwest corner of Shepherd and Willow avenues – technically in Fresno, but close enough to Clovis to serve its residents.

It’s now open noon to 11 p.m. daily.

The popular ice cream shop has two locations in Fresno (one across from Fresno High School, and the other at Marks and Herndon avenues) and over the years it has garnered a following.

The shop sells a variety of ice cream flavors they make themselves. Popular favorites include honeycomb and whiskey caramel swirl. It also offers vegan sorbets.

Creative seasonal flavors change each month, with July’s offerings including blackberry crisp, sweet corn, blueberry honey and a vegan nectarine and sage sorbet.

Eventually, the new location will offer soft-serve ice cream, something it doesn’t have at its other locations.

A grand opening event is in the works for late July.

Ampersand is among the first businesses to open in the newly developed The Row at Heritage Grove, kitty corner from Enzo’s Table.

It joins Revival 23 boutique and Flora Flower Co.

The shopping center will eventually be home to more stores and restaurants, including a Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop.

Details: Ampersand is at 2886 E. Shepherd Ave., suite 101, in Fresno. Hours: noon to 11 p.m. daily.
