Where to get Thanksgiving to-go dinners and pie from Fresno restaurants, stores in 2021
It’s early in November, but people are already planning what’s going to be on their Thanksgiving table.
If you’re the type to do it all yourself, more power to you.
If you’re the type to want a little help (and there’s no shame in that) restaurants, grocery stores and small businesses are ready to help. They offer everything from a fully-cooked meal, to just a turkey, or specific sides and pies.
Here’s a look at who’s offering what food and how to order. And don’t forget to pay attention to deadlines, which are coming up fast.
Thanksgiving dinner to go
BooBoo Bean Bakery & Cafe at Bullard and West avenues is again offering its Thanksgiving meal with several options. You can get a meal that feeds four to six people for $135, a meal that feeds eight to 10 people for $195, or buy items individually.
The meals come with turkey, ham or a combo of both, four sides, garlic-Parmesan rolls and dessert.
You can also buy sides individually, like stuffing and Southern-style green beans.
Ten types of pie are available, from $16 to $18.

Boston Market has a little bit of everything – chilled meals that you heat at home, or hot catered meals for groups of 10 or more that can be picked up or delivered.
Plus you can also get a la carte items good for small families, like just a turkey breast or sides like sweet potato casserole or pies.

Campagnia is offering a take-home meal, either a turkey dinner for $199 or a rib roast meal for $324. Both come with all the sides, like sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes pumpkin pie.
The deadline to order is Nov. 19.
The restaurant is also open Thanksgiving day with a $41.99 per person buffet from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Elbow Room in Fig Garden Village is selling a meal that feeds eight for $175. Order online.
It includes a whole roasted turkey or a Dijon and brown-sugar glazed ham with six sides and a pumpkin pie.
You can also order items individually like just the turkey or ham, or extra sides like mashed potatoes.
Marie Callender’s has a huge variety of meals and pies available at its Fresno location that reopened at Shaw and Cedar avenues.
See its website for the full menu, but there are 10 meal options ranging from $129.99 to $189.99. There are ham feasts and turkey feasts and a combination of both.

Max’s Bistro is selling Thanksgiving meals serving four or 10 people. The smaller meal costs $150 and the large meal costs $350. You can also get an individual meal for $37.
The meals include six sides (like mashed potatoes and vegetables) and pumpkin pie. The full menu is online.

Riley’s Brew Pub in Clovis is selling a Thanksgiving to-go meal serving eight people for $160. It includes turkey breast and honey-baked ham and all the traditional sides.
Riley’s is also open for dine in on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is offering a Thanksgiving plate special with turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes and more traditional sides. It costs $25 for adults, $15 for kids 12 and under.

Tabachines, the upscale Mexican restaurant at Herndon and Palm, is selling a Thanksgiving dinner to go with a Mexican twist.
It includes a guacamole and tostada appetizer, butternut squash soup, turkey and ham, sides, and tres leches cake. It costs $48 per person and can be ordered online.
The restaurant is also open for a Thanksgiving brunch for parties of two to five people. Details online.
Westwoods BBQ & Spice Co. has a Harvest package serving six people for $195.
It includes sliced turkey breast and honey-cured ham. It also has seven sides (like cornbread-sausage stuffing and mac ‘n’ cheese), condiments and pecan pie.

Pies, dessert
BooBoo Bean Bakery, as mentioned above, is not only doing meals but has a wide selection of pies.
Fruit pies come with a lattice or crumble top and cost $18. Cream pies (like coconut and chocolate) cost $16. And traditional pumpkin and pecan pies are $20.

Keep Your Fork is a home-based business specializing in New York cheesecake. It sells 10-inch cheesecakes for $35.
The business has all kinds of flavors, including pumpkin, pumpkin spice latte, caramel pecan pie, apple pie and more traditional cheesecake flavors.

Marie Callender’s Fresno location has 27 kinds of pie, including pumpkin, apple, rhubarb and some non-traditional ones like pumpkin cream cheese and cheesecake.

Ooh de Lolli, a downtown-based small business, is selling five Thanksgiving pies ranging from $34 to $36.
They include Fireball pecan pie, apple cranberry, a double-layer pumpkin cheesecake and more. Pies must be picked up the business’s kitchen in downtown Fresno.

Grocery stores
The Market, the locally-owned supermarket at Herndon and West avenues, is selling a holiday meal that serves six for $129.99.
You can also buy the turkey breast, ham and sides individually.
Meals for less than four people are hard to find, but The Market sells individual Thanksgiving dinners for $19.99 each.

Whole Foods has a ton of meal options, from a vegan meal for two to a traditional turkey dinner for 12. See its website for the full menu.

Sprouts is selling a meal serving two to three people for $39.99 and a meal serving six to eight people for $79.99.
The store also sells fully cooked turkey and ham options. Order online.
Save Mart is offering fully-prepared meals ranging from $49.99 to $79.99. Individual sides like mashed potatoes are also available.
